Winter Activities in the Heart of Lyngen Alps

During your stay, you can try dog sledding or a snowmobile safari. If you’d like to explore the local area, you can borrow snowshoes, and Alf will gladly tell you about nearby trips and trails.

Dinner is served in our restaurant, where we can also arrange a romantic dinner for two.

In the evening, you can unwind in the sauna or outdoor hot tub. If you’re lucky, the Northern Lights may appear in the sky, adding the perfect finishing touch to your experience.

You can choose between a 4-day or 5-day package.

• 4 days: from 15 900 kr per person in a double room.
• 5 dager: from 17 990 kr per person in double room.

Children 5-12 years: 50% discount, children under 5 years for free

Discount for groups of 3 or more on request, when staying in the same apartment.

Day 1: Arrival and Check-in

Let us know when you arrive in Tromsø, and you will be picked up either at the airport or from a hotel in the city center.
The drive to Lyngen takes you along fjords and through stunning mountain landscapes. Upon check-in, you’ll be given an apartment or a double room with a private bathroom.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant in the evening.

Day 2: Activity Day – Dog Sledding or Snowmobile Safari

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time for your winter adventure. We’ll drive you to the day’s activity location.
The activity is chosen when booking, but you can also book an extra one for another day.

Dog sledding:
Before the tour begins, the guide will provide warm clothing and explain how to safely drive a dog sled.
The dogs are friendly and love to run. You’ll get to know both the dogs and the guide during the trip.
Surrounded by majestic scenery, the 1000-meter-high Lyngen Alps, and deep valleys, everything is set for a fantastic day outdoors.
When you return to the basecamp, a warm meal will be served before heading back to Koppangen.

Snowmobile safari:
Before departure, your guide will provide warm clothing and safety instructions.
During the trip, we’ll make several stops so you can take photos of the Arctic landscape.
The route starts in gentle terrain and follows the base of the Lyngen Alps.
After the ride, a warm meal will be served before returning to Koppangen Brygger.

In the afternoon, you can relax at Koppangen Brygger, enjoy the sauna and hot tub, or explore the nearby area.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant in the evening.

Day 3: Relax Together

Start the day with a hearty breakfast. Spend the day however you like — borrow snowshoes or skis, or simply go for a walk to explore Koppangen and its surroundings.
Alternatively, you can book one of the optional activities.
Dinner will be served in our restaurant and will be based on local ingredients.

Day 4: Departure or Extra Activity Day

After three days in the heart of the Lyngen Alps, we’ll drive you back to Tromsø — either to the airport or a city-center hotel.
If you’ve chosen the 5-day package, you’ll have the option to book an extra activity for this day (must be pre-booked).

Day 5: Departure

After four days in the heart of the Lyngen Alps, we’ll drive you back to Tromsø — either to the airport or a hotel in the city center.

Accommodation

Koppangen Brygger offers accommodation in hotel rooms and apartments with access to a sauna and hot tub.
If you’re traveling as a group of three or more, you can share an apartment.
If you’re traveling alone or as a couple, you’ll stay in one of our new hotel rooms.

Arrival days: Sunday (3 nights) and Wednesdays (4 nights)

Pick up at your hotel or airport in Tromsø. The travel to Koppangen Brygger takes about 2 hours and include one ferry passage over the Ullsfjord. The transfer from/to Tromsø is included in the package.
