Aurora Borealis – The incredible Northern Lights from the tipi with dinner and beverages
Far away from distracting city light, annoying traffic and unwanted sounds, you´ll have the best chances of seeing the Northern lights at our very own hotspot for this beautiful wonder in the sky.
We are situated east of the Lyngen Alps where you will have a great opportunity of seeing Ms. Aurora, all on your own or with one of our guides.
Since the lights come and go as they like, patience is the key. While one of our guides is out scooping and keeping watch, we offer you snacks, local food and warm beverages in our authentic sami tipi. The tipi is kept warm with a fire and is comfortable enough for you to relax while you wait for the mysterious lights to start dancing in the sky.

Hunt the Northern lights on your own
At Visit Lyngen: Koppangen Brygger you can also discover Aurora, The Northern Lights, by yourself. Sit down relaxing in our outdoor seawater (40C) bathtub as you watch the Northern Lights dance its way over the sky. Another option is to get on some warm clothing and walk around 300 metres up the hill and into the wilderness surrounding Koppangen Brygger. Sit down, lay your head back and wait for the Aurora to come if it isn`t allready there. If it`s not moving an old saami myth say that if you start to Joik (saami folksong) it would start dancing like never before.
