Wood Burning Sauna

One hour drive from the ferry terminal and you reach paradise.The location is jaw dropping.The cabins are well maintained . Alf the owner is really sweet and helpful.There is a hot water tub out in the open.The place is worth more than the price . You really have to go there and expereince it.

Surrounded in a picturesque Fjord with towering mountains and the calm sea laid out right at the door step of the Cabin, the view is magically surreal. Away from light pollution of the City, the Aurora Borealis dances each night across the starlit skies overhead making it a sight to behold. Alf, the owner of the Cabins is a wonderful and hospitable host. He paid attention to the needs of his every guests.

We came here for a week and could have stayed for months. Alf and his wife Birgette made us so welcome and anticipated our every need. Alf provided equipment for all our local activities and arranges the more adventurous ones farther afield. Nature also provided some equally exciting treats from, Northern Lights to Golden and Sea Eagles right on our doorstep with numerous other wildfowl and occasional minkie whales. No better place to chill out and absorb the wonderful atmosphere, a little bit of heaven on earth.

The lodges are very nice and comfortable, including sauna and jacuzzi. Alf, the owner of the lodge was very helpful in all aspects. He gave us also some tips for ski touring. We really recommend this place.
